As of June, 2012, twenty (20) of the site's 55 buildings have been abated and razed. Progress in remediation and demolition is proceeding with State and Federal EPA funding (grants), Town matching funds, and sale of recoverable scrap materials.

Foreground - former powerhouse location
The former administration building has been assessed as being structurally sound and identified for adaptive reuse. It has been weatherized.
